A Message from NFSI PTSO Presidents

Thank you to everyone that joined us at the community meeting on Tuesday. It was so wonderful to hear from Principal Saucedo-Falagan about the school and immersion language acquisition. The Language Ambassadors were also kind enough to join and share a little about themselves.

Friday, October 11th is the first Movie night! The movie will be shown in Spanish with English subtitles. This event is free and open to NFSI K-5 students. Cash concessions will be available to help cover the cost of the school rental.

Students get to vote and choose the movie! Head over to our Facebook page to cast your student's votes this week! The winning movie will be announced next week in the newsletter and on Facebook. If you don't have Facebook, you can email us at president@nfsiptso.org to cast your votes.

Fiesta Volunteer Committee

Want to help make Fiesta a success or help shape the evening? Join the Fiesta Volunteer committee at their first meeting on Thursday, 10/24, 6-7pm @ Jerry’s Foods. Reach out to vicepresident@nfsiptso.org with questions or to learn more.

Vote for the Movie!

Movie Night is October 11 at NFSI.

We love to have our students choose the movie!

The movie will be shown in Spanish with English subtitles.

Head over to our Facebook page to cast votes on behalf of your students. The options for the movie in October are:

Shrek
Migration
Elemental

Comment on the Facebook post or email president@nfsiptso.org to cast your votes.

You can vote once for each student in your home!

The winning movie will be announced next week!

LA Ride Requests

There will be more rides needed this year. Keep an eye out for the ride requests sent by the LA Ride Coordinator this year and if everyone signs up for a few, we can help the LAs have a wonderful experience while they are here this year. Be sure to bookmark the ride sign-up link and keep checking it!

If you can’t provide rides, consider donating here and we will use the funds to order Lyft/Uber rides

This year, we will be posting copies of our newsletter each week on our website. This will allow you to access past issues if you missed one.
