Weekly Newsletter - October 3, 2024

A Message from NFSI PTSO Presidents

It’s that time of year again. The Read-A-Thon is back!

Starting next week, reading logs will be set home with our kids. To encourage our students reading and to raise funds that support our program. This year we will use a different platform to cut down on website expenses, but the end result will be the same. This year, we have set up the link for you to share and we will work as a community to hit our goal. The funds raised go to teacher support (teacher dinners at conferences, books for classrooms and the media center, and so much more), cultural activities, completely fund the Language Ambassador program and more.

Our goal is to raise $25,000 this fall and if we meet this goal, our kids will get to enjoy an enriching and unique cultural experience during an all school assembly in November in honor of National Native American Heritage Month.

The fundraising link will be sent next week!

Spirit wear orders will be ready for pickup starting Friday, October 4! Visit Advanced Sportswear in Newport to pickup by end of day Tuesday, October 8, if you can. On Wednesday, October 9 we will pickup any remaining items and send them home with your student.
